Far Cry 6

Ubisoft's most-recent mainline Far Cry entry as of 2026. Open-world FPS set in the fictional Caribbean nation of Yara, under the dictatorship of Antón Castillo (played by Giancarlo Esposito). Singleplayer is the marketed primary mode; 2-player drop-in/drop-out online coop campaign is supported as a secondary mode (host-only mission progression per Ubisoft docs). Older entries — Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn — also support 2-player coop.
