God of War

God of War is a single-player action-adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The 2018 soft-reboot of the franchise follows an older, retired Kratos and his young son Atreus as they journey through the world of Norse mythology to fulfill the final wish of Kratos's second wife, scattering her ashes from the highest peak in the Nine Realms. It is a story-driven, single-player experience with no multiplayer mode. Originally released on PlayStation 4 in April 2018, with a Windows PC port arriving in January 2022, and playable on PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
