Helldivers

Arrowhead Game Studios' 2015 top-down co-op shooter and the predecessor to Helldivers 2. Up to 4 players fight together across procedurally generated campaigns against three alien enemy factions, with notorious friendly fire and a strategic meta-layer where every community's completed mission shifts the galactic war map. Featured seamless cross-play and cross-save across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Windows PC — uncommon for its time.
