Outlast

Red Barrels' 2013 first-person survival-horror classic. Investigative journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the Mount Massive Asylum armed only with a camcorder — there is no combat, only running, hiding, and recording. A defining single-player horror experience on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Mac, Linux, and Nintendo Switch. Distinct from The Outlast Trials (the 2024 cooperative spin-off).
