Stranded survivors build a colony on a frontier planet while an AI storyteller generates pirate raids, weather, and dramatic events. Colonist roles, moods, and relationships are simulated — the player steers, the AI assigns. Deep mod support, five expansions (Royalty, Ideology, Biotech, Anomaly, Odyssey), and a Console Edition on PlayStation and Xbox. Single-player only, no competitive ladder.
