Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

FromSoftware's single-player action-adventure set in a reimagined late-Sengoku Japan. Published internationally by Activision (self-published by FromSoftware in Japan). Players control the one-armed shinobi Wolf on a quest to rescue his young lord and avenge his clan, mastering a punishing posture-based sword-combat system and the resurrection mechanic. Strictly single-player with no multiplayer, co-op, or online component. Originally released on PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in March 2019 (Google Stadia cloud port in October 2019); winner of Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2019.
