Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne is Atlus's post-apocalyptic turn-based JRPG, originally released on PlayStation 2 in Japan in 2003 and brought to modern platforms as an HD Remaster in 2021 (PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch). Playing as the Demi-fiend in a Tokyo destroyed and reborn as the Vortex World, the player aligns with competing Reasons, negotiates with and fuses demons to build a party, and battles through the Press Turn system's punishing one-more-turn combat. It has no multiplayer mode or competitive ranking.
