Definition

A stack is a premade group of friends that queues together. The size is typically expressed as a 2-stack, 3-stack, 4-stack, or 5-stack. Most matchmaking systems treat stacks differently from solo queue, often pairing larger stacks against other stacks to keep matches balanced.

Example

"I'll only play ranked in a 3-stack with comms" — the player refuses to solo queue and only plays in a premade group of three.
