Definition

On Discord and Jynx, a boost is a community-level perk that members can apply to their server or community to unlock premium features. Discord Boosts are tied to Nitro subscriptions and unlock higher voice quality, larger uploads, and custom emojis. Jynx's Boost system has four levels and unlocks community-cosmetic and structural features collaboratively rather than per-individual.

Example

"We hit Level 2 boost — animated server icon now." The community reached the threshold to unlock a tier-2 perk.
