LGBTQ-friendly server

Definition

An LGBTQ-friendly server is a Discord server, gaming community, or in-app community that explicitly welcomes LGBTQ+ members and enforces anti-harassment rules. These spaces filter out the slur-heavy default culture of much of online gaming. They are most common for Overwatch, Final Fantasy XIV, Genshin Impact, and other titles with substantial LGBTQ+ player bases.

Example

"I only play in LGBTQ-friendly servers — comms are way more chill." The player chose curated spaces to avoid the open-lobby slur problem.
