Definition

Looking for trade (LFT) is the analog of LFG for trading economies — a player signaling they want to exchange items, currency, or characters with another player. LFT is most common in trade-economy games: Diablo 4, Path of Exile, Counter-Strike skins, Old School RuneScape. The LFT culture is heavily abbreviation-driven ("WTB," "WTS," "PC" for price-check).

Example

"LFT raw gold for runes — fair rate." The player is signaling a desire to trade currency for items at standard market rates.
