WTB

Definition

WTB stands for Want To Buy. It is used in trade chats to signal that a player is looking to acquire a specific item, character, or service. WTB posts include the offer (price, items, gold) and the desired item. Diablo, OSRS, and Counter-Strike trade economies all use WTB extensively. The complement is WTS (Want To Sell).

Example

"WTB Andariel's Visage perfect roll, 5 Ber." The player wants to buy a specific item at the listed price.
