clutch
StatsDefinition
A clutch is a high-stakes round won by a single player despite being outnumbered (1v2, 1v3, 1v4, 1v5). Clutching requires composure, utility usage, and decisive aim. CS:GO popularized the term; HLTV records 1vN clutches as a distinct stat. Modern competitive coverage almost always replays clutch rounds because they capture peak individual play.
Example
"He clutched the 1v3 with the AWP." One player won a round despite being outnumbered three to one.
