Definition

Duelist is one of the four agent roles in Valorant. Duelists are designed to take fights and create space, with kits built around aggressive engagements. Examples include Jett, Reyna, Phoenix, Raze, Yoru, Neon, and Iso. Most teams play one or two duelists, who together account for the majority of opening kills and entry attempts.

Example

"We need a duelist — comp won't work without entry." The team needs an aggressive opener to take map control.
