Definition

To feed is to die repeatedly to the same opponent, giving them resources (gold, XP, kill streaks) that snowball the game. Feeding can be unintentional (poor play) or intentional (a form of throwing). The verb is most common in MOBAs where kills directly fund the killer's items, but it applies to any game with kill rewards.

Example

"Top is 0/8 — he's feeding hard." The top-laner has died eight times with no kills, fueling the enemy laner.
