Tilted describes a player whose emotional state has degraded to the point where their gameplay suffers. The term comes from poker, where "on tilt" means making bad decisions due to frustration. Tilt cascades: one bad game leads to worse decisions, more losses, and deeper frustration. Recognizing tilt and stopping is the key to long-term ranked progress.

Example

"I'm too tilted to keep playing — queueing one more is just throwing." The player recognizes their state and chooses to log off.
