Definition

A flash is a grenade or ability that blinds enemies who look at it. Flashes are the second pillar of tactical-FPS utility (alongside smokes), enabling pushes and clutch entries. Pop-flashes — flashes that detonate immediately on round corner — are the most punishing variant. Counter-flashing is a counter-tactic where defenders flash through the offense's flash.

Example

"Flash for the entry on three." The supporting teammate will throw a flash so the entry can swing the angle blind-free.
