Definition

A smoke is a vision-blocking ability or grenade that creates a temporary screen of opaque cover. Smokes deny vision both ways and are central to tactical-FPS strategy. Counter-Strike smokes are throwables; Valorant smokes are agent abilities. Knowing default smokes for every map is mandatory for above-average ranked play.

Example

"Defaults — line up the A main smoke." The team executes their standard opening utility for the bombsite.
