rotator

Team Roles

Definition

A rotator is a player who moves between bombsites or map areas to support teammates after gathering information. Rotation timing is one of the most important skills in tactical FPS — too early reveals position, too late means a teammate dies. Counter-Strike, Valorant, and Rainbow Six Siege all feature heavy rotation play.

Example

"I'll rotate B if you call." The player will move from A to B if the IGL signals contact.
