Marvel Rivals

Definition

Marvel Rivals is NetEase's 6v6 hero shooter set in the Marvel universe, launched in 2024. It uses the Vanguard/Duelist/Strategist role labels (analogous to Tank/DPS/Support). Marvel Rivals' team-up mechanics let pairs of heroes unlock combo abilities, encouraging coordinated picks and synergy-driven team comp. The game grew rapidly in late 2024.
