Definition

Tank is a frontline role designed to absorb damage and create space for the team. In Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals, tanks have higher health pools and damage-mitigation abilities. In MOBAs, tank champions like Ornn, Malphite, and Tidehunter initiate fights and protect carries. Most team comps include exactly one tank.
