trio

Definition

A trio is a group of three players who queue together. Trio is the squad size for Apex Legends, Warzone trios, and most three-player BR modes. In 5v5 games, a trio queue fills the remaining two slots with strangers — a common middle ground between duo and 5-stack.

Example

"Let's run a trio in Apex tonight." The three-player squad mode is the goal for the session.
