main

Definition

A main is a player's primary character, hero, agent, role, or game. Maining a character or role implies investment, expertise, and a willingness to play it consistently. Players often stack mains: "controller main, Astra main" specifies both role and agent. Off-roling (playing outside one's main) is socially significant in role-locked games.

Example

"I'm a Sentinel main, Killjoy and Cypher are my A-tier picks." The player commits to a role and identifies their best agents.
